Riding Gear
Of the few things we own, a strong and healthy body is most important so we chose the best possible riding gear to protect it. Many people recommended KLiM gear and after a tour of the KLiM Head Quarters in Rigby, Idaho we were sold.

Azure rides in an Altitude Jacket. Stylish yet strong, this vented, waterproof jacket is the product of deep research. Based on the comments and suggestions of hundreds of women, it's tailored to fit the female form and is the best in the business. Coupled with Klim's Altitude Pants, it provides a durable, comfortable, weatherproof suit. Made with Gore-Text Misano performance fabric, it's the ultimate in rain gear. High-tenacity nylon abrasion zones at the elbows, shoulders and lower rear hem make this jacket durable as well as attractive. Safety features include 3M Scotchlite reflective material for maximum visibility in rain, fog and darkness. Protection includes D30 EVO elbow armor, D30 EVO shoulder armor and a level-1 D30 FLO 1 back protector.
Protecting our hands while maintaining that ever-important connection to our motorcycles is paramount. Our hands are amazing instruments that we tend to take for granted. The gloves we wear to protect these fine instruments should provide protection and outstanding fit.
For women it is especially hard to find well fitting gloves. Lee from Racer Gloves solved this problem by carrying a full aray of female gloves next to his selection of male riding gloves.

Gloves
Helmets
We feel naked without our helmets. We've both had close encounters with tarmac and have been so thankfull to have our full face helmets on our heads.
Since Roel's crash in Venezuela we have been looking for new helmets to keep us safe on our journey. We finally had the chance to fit the Arai XD4 and were amazed by the fit and comfort. The Arai XD4 is DOT and Snell approved and is one of the safest helmets out there. This made the choice easy. We cannot wait to ride with our new helmets. Check back here for a review soon!
Boots
Our feet are as important as our hands. Allthough proper riding boots would offer the best protection we choose to ride with high, stiff hiking boots. They are more comfortable to walk on whenever we stop in a town or when we are camping in nature.
Azure rides with Hanwag Lady Mountain Light GTX Boots. They are lightweight, waterproof and add to her height.
Roel has always ridden in Lowa Combat Boots. They are high and waterproof and very comfartable to walk in.
